Crystals to manifest calm and channel the chill vibe!
We all know how stressful work can get. You might feel swamped and overwhelmed, or like your cluttered workspace is affecting your productivity. Whatever the problem, work should never leave a negative impact on your overall happiness.
The conversation about crystals is so loaded with words like energy and high-vibe that you might not think to reach for one when you need to unwind or quell feelings of anxiousness. But in a world of mysticism, there’s a crystal for everything — inspiring creativity in your life, promoting productivity and absolutely yes, self soothing and stress relief.
Crystals which are used for work stress are probably far more common than you think. Most stones will soothe your energy in some way, but some crystals and stones are dedicated to relieve stress and help with anxiety. They are fittingly known as calming crystals, and are believed to “settle the spirit down” and connect with our energy field in a way that helps us cleanse and become centred. Calming crystals can be a true saviours for for toxic work environments, or indeed any stressful environment.
Anxiety and stress can often become an all consuming downward spiral of which can feel seemingly inescapable. Having a crystal on you or with you, can allow you to tune into their calming energies, and slow down or stop the downward spiral. Simply having a physical object such a calming gemstone, or indeed a spinning ring with gemstones, can help create a sense of ritual and help you to focus your mind on something else.
Which Crystal to choose? Our top 5 !
1.Amethyst
Known as “the intuitive eye,” amethyst is a purple crystal you can find in abundance. If it seems to show up in every other Instagram influencer’s home, it’s likely because of its reputation for relaxing energy.
“Amethyst fuses with the crown and third eye chakras to send peaceful vibes straight to where you need them” Askinosie explains. “Not only will it relax the mind, it also brings clarity so that you can better understand whatever situation may be causing stress.”
2. Celestite
“Celestite is a high-vibrational stone that blasts away those chaotic thoughts that keep you from attaining a clear headspace,” says Askinosie. Far beyond its soothing blue hue, celestite is believed to connect to your third eye, heart, and crown energy centers—a trifecta that encourages “the highest realms of serenity,” she explains.
The overwhelmingly soothing energy of celestite facilitates intuition and communication, which in turn create a sense of safety and calmness, allowing you to let go of your fears and give in to release.
3. Kyanite
Kyanite is an excellent crystal that aligns your body’s chakras. Its grounding vibrations help you release your unwanted emotions, such as frustration, fear, and anger.
It helps you connect with your own higher wisdom. What’s even good with this crystal is that it does not hold on to negative energies. It’s a crystal that does not need to be cleansed.
Citrine; Use Citrine to make things happen, its energy will encourage your inner strength to grow, enabling you to push through even the toughest obstacles.
As Citrine is self cleansing, it acts as a battery storing positive energy to then project out to the universe, energising and recharging you.. If you're looking for a stone to help unleash some creativity and visualisation then citrine is your stone. It releases negative traits, depression, fears and phobias.
Rose Quartz; Sometimes the masculine energy in the workplace can be overwhelming. I used Rose quartz to balance and lift the divine female energy which we can all benefit from especially when you need to work on creative projects.
Many people think of Rose Quartz as a love stone, and it is most definitely that. However, it has de-stressing properties as well. I often recommend it in combination with Blue Calcite and/or Lepidolite to help with relaxation and a good night’s sleep. Whenever you’re feeling anxious, holding this stone or placing it on your heart chakra reminds you to nurture and love yourself and helps you feel like everything is going to be ok.
